Change conventional to modern digital classes with Rumah Belajar

As true educators we must follow the changing times. The Z generation that teachers face today is the Android generation that cannot be separated from gadget. Prohibiting from using Android is not a hundred percent good thing, because Android is their era. Therefore the Ministry of Education and Culture Pustekkom issued an application as an alternative way for educators to students namely Rumah Belajar portal that can be accessed anywhere, anytime, with anyone.
One of my ways as an educator, to massively spread the Rumah Belajar application is by socializing Rumah Belajar from school to school. The school I chose was a school in my own city first, then to another area. From the level of kindergarten, elementary, junior highschool, senior high school and vocational school I visited to combat negative content that appears every day on the internet.
Based on the website kominfo.go.id, since 2015, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) has blocked 800 thousand negative sites in collaboration with internet service providers such as Facebook, Twitter, and others to filter and create positive content. So far, negative sites still dominate. During that period, there are 800,000 sites were blacklisted in Positive Trust content. All of these sites have been blocked. While the list of positive content is still relatively small, i.e. there are only 250,000 sites.
To combat negative content in social media , the government uses a system of upstream to downstream strategies. This system involves all elements of the nation, starting from the government, people in all groups of society, social media companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others. The upstream is the information literacy according to the mandate of the 19th ITR Act 2016. Meanwhile, in the downstream there is a hard approach such as site blocking and so on.

From the information I got. I, as an educator, think that the socialization of Rumah Belajar is very important for students who factually are the Android generation. The students will feel happy if introduced to the application that can be installed on their gadget. Easy-to-use Rumah Belajar application helps teachers in learning. The most important thing that we will get is to reduce negative content which cannot be prevented.
Installing massively Rumah Belajar application on Playstore is one of the positive alternatives for education in combating negative content. My main target is students , then teachers. Why student? because the number of students is far more than the teachers. There was a positive atmosphere while socializing Rumah Belajar to students which appeared from their enthusiasm in welcoming the Rumah Belajar Kemendikbud portal.
I have visited more than 30 schools in a month and the results are very positive which are seen from the warm welcome from these schools. For example in one school there were 1000 students who installed Rumah Belajar application, and multiplied by 30 schools, then there are 30,000 students who have directed to positive content so that the negative content would gradually be eliminated by itself.
If measuring on the contents of the application, it is great for students, teachers, and the wider community. The application is so easy and all given for free. The features of the Rumah Belajar Kemdikbud application will be more advanced along with the support of the wider community in welcoming it.
